Villa Moderne

The exhibition Villa Moderne was named after a side road to one of the main streets leading into Paris. The road is a U-turn. Here I had a studio for some months in 2008 while I was participating in the Pavillon programme at Palais Tokyo. The residency became a point of departure for an attempt to paint my way through Modernism. The exhibition was shown in the container gally GAD next to the Munch museum in Oslo.
